Real Skills is born out of our experience as a supported housing provider.
We passionately believe that committed and knowledgeable staff are essential to us delivering high quality outcomes for our clients.
In purchasing training for our own staff we have come to understand, that the most successful courses are delivered by those with practical knowledge of their subject and tools to help effective transfer the knowledge into every day support work.
Whether delivered for managers or staff, all our training has the same four qualities:
1. It is run by practitioners able to draw on their own experience to illustrate the course. Legislation is rapidly changing and requires trainers able to assess its practical impact on the ground.
2. It is supported by proformas, guides and tools that are made freely available for the delegates to take away and implement in their service. We don’t give away anything we haven’t tried ourselves.
3. It is tailored to your needs. All our courses can be amended to include your policy and procedure. It is important that staff are able to understand how best practice will affect them.
4. It is represents good value for money: our costs are clear and fair. We don’t charge for any of the tools attached to the course and seek to add value by developing materials which suit your needs at no extra cost. We are always on hand to offer support and advice.
